Kudun and Partners’ Dispute Resolution Team Shares Expertise on Labour Law in the Digital Age Hosted by Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University

On May 16, 2025, Kongwat Akaramanee, partner and Jamorn Pornponwat, associate of the Dispute Resolution, Litigation and Arbitration Practice, were invited as speakers for a training course hosted by the Faculty of Law, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The session focused on labour law in the digital age, with a particular emphasis on dispute management and prevention strategies for private educational institutions. The aim was to enhance participants’ understanding of labour-related legal issues in an increasingly digital environment.

Kongwat and Jamorn led a comprehensive session covering the fundamentals of Thai labour law, focusing on employment contracts, termination procedures, unfair dismissal, and legal remedies. Through practical case studies, they demonstrated how labour disputes typically arise and provided actionable strategies for private educational institutions to proactively manage and prevent such issues. 

The event also featured expert insights from Asst. Prof. Supawat Malanon, Advisor to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), who discussed data privacy management in educational institutions and shared examples of PDPA violations. Lt. Col. Paphot Wanichayakul from the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC), Ministry of Education, also addressed the prevention and resolution of administrative disputes.
