Thanyaluck Thongrompo, Partner and Head of Regulatory, Permits, and Licensing Practice, together with Niruch Winiyakul, Partner in the Dispute Resolution, Litigation and Arbitration Practice, Sirapat Chaisarnseri, Sunantha Thungla and Matichai Poolperm, Associate, led our interns on an exclusive site visit to two of Thailand’s most prominent judicial institutions—the Central Bankruptcy Court and the Administrative Court.
At the Central Bankruptcy Court, interns received an in-depth briefing on the court’s structure, jurisdiction, and the nature of the cases it handles. Court officials and legal officers provided valuable insights into the increasing importance of bankruptcy law in Thailand, particularly the growing role of court-supervised business restructuring in the current economic landscape.
In the afternoon, they continued the visit to the Administrative Court where interns were introduced to the court’s role in resolving disputes between private individuals and government agencies. The visit highlighted the critical importance of administrative law in upholding justice, transparency, and accountability within the public administration.
This initiative underscores Kudun and Partners’ dedication to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and legal practice. We extend our sincere appreciation to our internship committee for their leadership and meticulous coordination in delivering such an impactful learning experience.
