Kudun and Partners Represents B. Grimm Power Public Company Limited in Power Plant Acquisitions in South Korea

Kudun and Partners, as a co-counsel together with Jipyong LLC, a Korean firm, has successfully represented B. Grimm Power Public Company Limited, through its subsidiary B. Grimm Power Korea Limited, in two significant cross-border acquisitions in South Korea’s renewable energy sector. This includes the acquisition of a direct and indirect 49% stake in Nakwol Blueheart Co., Ltd. for USD 35.7 million and a 49% stake in Hanbit Wind Power Co. Ltd. for USD 25.2 million, a combined installed capacity of 740 megawatts in two offshore wind power plants.

These acquisitions totaling approximately USD 60.9 million reflect our client’s dedication to contributing to a future marked by net zero carbon emissions as well as collaborative growth in South Korea’s renewable energy sector and contribution to the country’s ambition to emerge as one of the world’s foremost offshore wind power producers.
